DigitalAnthill.com is the online home of Rob Antill
Setup in 2010 as a platform to showcase my work, the content has evolved and become more focused around three main areas:
I have been working with unmanned aircraft systems (aka drones) since 2012. I hold a PfCO (Permission for Commercial Operations) licence issued by the UK CAA. I am fully insured for world-wide operation, subject to local drone regulations and procedures outlined in my Operation Manual. Under my licence I am certified for Night Operation, which opens up a range of further possibilities for production. Check the Aerial section out for examples of my work.
As well as aerial work I now have extensive experience as a camera operator and focus puller. I have worked as 1st AC, remote focus pulling and building camera rigs on various commercial productions. Head to the Films section to see what I’ve been involved in.
I enjoy photography, moving or still. One area that interests me the most is exploring forgotten places, a hobby that has led me around the world. A massive privilege and pleasure. Check out the Urbex section to see some of my favourite locations.
