Alex created this custom graphic using permanent pens directly on the body of the quad-copter.

The drawing begins. To give Alex a blank canvas I first dismantled all that I could from the main body. I then removed all the stickers and use nail varnish remover to get rid of the residue. It took roughly three evenings (while watching films) to complete.
Once Alex had finished the design we had to keep the pen from being rubbed off, so I used a clear spray lacquer. Before I could use this I had to make sure everything was clean and that all the screw holes and motors were covered. I used blu-tack and masking tape for this. Where the lacquer went on too thick, the pen lines started to bleed a little, from them I made sure I applied the thinnest coats I could.
After about 5 coats it was ready..
I also recently invested in this FPV system. I’ve only tested it a couple of times, but its pretty amazing.
Massive thanks to Alex for taking the time to do this.
