I noticed the other day that the old Gelaskin I had on my iPhone 4 was getting a bit tatty. It had been on the phone for around 4 months and I didn’t have any problems with it at all. But I think with all the cold and damp weather recently the sticky adhesive that holds the sticker on was wearing out.

So I decided it was time for a bit of a refresh. I found that Amazon now do a pretty big range for only £10 a piece. This is better than the £20 I paid to get it imported from Canada before!

This time round I went for something a bit more colourful and detailed. I really liked the look of the art work from the designer eboy so I went for one of his designs ‘Baltimore Docks’.

Below is the new sticker on the phone. I like how this one ties well with the wallpaper on the screen.

Note the white areas on the first photo, this is where the adhesive has worn away meaning it would peal up and get even worse. The second picture shows how much the printed side wears, clearly not very much.

Removing the stickers is very easy and they don’t leave any residue. The areas on the phone where the stickers had been were still in mint condition.

Over all I’m really happy with these skins. I think for the price it provides a good amount of protection against general wear and tear that will occur in your pocket or where ever, and it makes your phone look pretty dope! I like how it doesn’t take much away from the original design, that’s why I don’t like using big cases. Although these skins wouldn’t provide any protection against shock if dropped etc but that’s a risk I’m willing to take..
